ONPU

Onpu is a musical arcade game developed as a team during a game jam, which revisits the codes of Guitar Hero in a crazy universe inspired by manga and Japanese pop art. The player embodies Mathieu, a teacher confronted with five mischievous students determined to give him a hard time. Through three levels of increasing difficulty, he must follow the rhythm, chain combos, maintain long notes and dodge traps to reach the required score and unlock the next level.

Between demanding rhythmic gameplay, offbeat humor and colorful characters, Onpu offers an immersive arcade experience where each level has its own musical and narrative atmosphere.

Designed for an arcade cabinet, the game combines a dynamic 3D experience, animated shaders, rainbow trails and striking visual effects. From comic book-style transitions to victory or defeat cinematics, every detail reinforces its visual identity and unbridled energy.
